WHAT IS ORGONITE?
Orgonite is a blend of (preferably) organic resin, inorganic metal shavings, and especially crystals.
This magickal blend is designed to balance and harmonize bio-energy, also known as orgone energy, chi, or prana. The concept was inspired by the work of Dr. Wilhelm Reich, an Austrian psychoanalyst who, in the mid-20th century, studied a form of vital life force he called orgone. Modern orgonites are an evolution of his research, developed to accumulate, cleanse, and emit positive orgone energy.
One of the most intriguing aspects of orgonite is its self-charging nature, which is largely attributed to the combination of materials within it—especially the interaction between quartz crystals and resin. As the resin cures and hardens, it shrinks slightly, placing continuous pressure on the quartz crystal inside. This pressure activates the crystal’s piezoelectric properties, causing it to emit a small, steady electrical charge without the need for an external power source.
Quartz is a key crystal in orgonites, as it is the quartz which creates the natural piezoelectric charge (a.k.a orgone energy) generated from the layers of atomized crystal blend and EMF attenuation.
How Orgonites Work
Orgonites operate by constantly attracting and transforming energy. The resin pulls in or attracts negative energy. The metal components repel it, thus reating a high frequency attraction – repulsion cycle.
